World Safe International, LLC was formed in 2008 after a successful career in the fire service by its founder Chief (retired) Craig H. Shelley. Chief Shelley served over 40 years in the fire/EMS service in the municipal, marine and industrial sectors. He has served in both career and volunteer departments as well as consulted with, and/or advised, various fire departments and private companies both nationally and internationally on fire service, safety, educational, and training issues.
During Craig's career he has served with units of the Special Operations Command of the City of New York Fire Department (FDNY) and retired as the Chief of Marine Operations. Most recently, he was employed as an advisor/consultant to a major oil company operating in the Middle East. In this capacity Chief Shelley advised/consulted on allaspects of fire administration, operations, training and incident management in the industrial and municipal setting.
Additionally, Chief Shelley served as a Task Force Leader with the Federal Emergency Management Agency's (FEMA) Urban Search and Rescue Task Force NY TF-1, leading deployments to the Oklahoma City bombing, Hurricane Marylin (Puerto Rico) and the Atlanta Summer Olympics.

- Executive Fire Officer Designation (United States National Fire Academy)
- Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator (National Association of Fire Investigators)
